We have 2 amazing local investors with years of experience between them who are excited to share their journey with us. Their reasons for taking time out of their busy schedules is in the hope, it will encourage and inspire all who want to achieve greater financial outcomes for themselves and their families.

Clayton is the current vice president of the OPIA and on the board of NZPIF. He is the NZPIF South Island area representative and a keen property investor.
Property is in Clayton's blood. He grew up with the family always busy with their own rental properties – carrying out maintenance and keeping a close eye on the market.
He currently has a portfolio of 21 student flats. In 2008 Clayton made the move into real estate. It wasn’t a hard decision, he said, given his genuine interest in property and the family connection.
Prior to becoming a property consultant, Clayton worked in the building and hospitality industries. He also has a diploma in business, majoring in marketing and management. The marketing background, in particular, is something he uses every day to assist sellers and buyers achieve their goals.
Clayton says that while student rental investments are a significant part of his business, a large percentage of the sales are in family homes and inner-city rental investment properties, beyond the university campus area.

Kathryn Seque-Roche, while younger than most experienced investors, has spent the last 10 years self-managing a large portfolio for family as well as her own property. The portfolio ranges from 1 bedroom apartments to large student flats. Kathryn dedication is very evident. In her day to day running of the business she is hands on and does EVERYTHING, from the letting, to the cleaning, to even sewing the curtains. After buying and renovating properties herself, she then tackled a new build with great success, although there were a few bumps along the way.
Most recently she got thrown in the deep end and managed a large development of 9 two-bedroom apartments in Dunedin thatincluded rebuilding a heritage façade and a battle with the local council to get it done. Now that it's all rented, Kathryn has taken some much needed time off to catch her breath.
Kathryn has also been the president of the Otago PropertyInvestors Assoc. for last 5 years and sat on the NZPIF for 4 years.

If you are younger or have a young family and need some inspiration, come and hear how it all went, learn the facts and the figures on the development and if she would do it all over again.

We are so excited to have both these seasoned investors all on the same night and if you're serious about expanding your investing knowledge, this is an event not to be missed.
